Student Pear Picking Day
pear-picking3.gif

On Tuesday, September 23, eight students from the Goshen Crossing went to a small local orchard to pick pears.  Several students became quite proficient at standing on a ladder and using the "bionic arm" to reach the fruit at the top of the trees.  Another group of students delivered the pears to Church Community Services for distribution through their food bank.  Everyone had a good time while serving the community.

I received my BA in Urban Ministry from Taylor University, and my MA in Counseling/Student Development from Bethel College.

I married my husband, Deric, in 2004, and began working for The Crossing in 2006. I have a strong desire to work with teenage students, preparing them both intellectually and spiritually for success in the world.

I love being part of an organization that gives students hope. It is awesome to see that most kids need only to be loved and a second chance in order to be successful.
