The Crossing By: Matt Harris
There are many ways for someone to go to school. There are public schools, private schools, and alternative schools. I started in public school, and I was doing ok, but then I started high school. My grade point average dropped by half my first year. I needed help, and even though I was good at some subjects, the others made me struggle to the point of failing. However, there was a light at the end of this tunnel… the Crossing. They didn’t hang me out to dry. They took me in and dunked me in education. In only a quarter at the Crossing I have tripled my grade average and have earned 4 credits so far. The Crossing is a place that the troubled can find peace, the un-teachable can be taught, and the haunted can shed the fear away and become new. The Crossing is one place that people can actually start new, be reborn, and believe in something for a change.]]>
